The Avak Group of "young seniors" meet every Monday in the church hall from 9:30a.m. to 3:00p.m.  There are approximately twenty-five to   

thirty active members in attendance.

Presently, the different groups enjoy a variety of card/board games and look forward to attending each week to renew friendships and share in

good old-fashioned comradeship.

We try to plan monthly luncheons--and will acknowledge a friends birthday with a cake and well wishes.

Our parish nurse, Sona Hargrove, has provided health related tips or speakers to enlighten us about changes which could benefit us.

We are always open to suggestions to broaden our horizons--a program of interest--an activity which could be enjoyed by those who enjoy

arts/crafts.  We are even interested in possible "day trips" to an event which we could all participate in.

Anyone interested in joining our "special group" is most WELCOME--we would love to have new folks join in.
